LSFM4LIFE partners Lorenza Lazzari (Fondazione Policlinico di Milano, Italy), Meritxell Huch (Gurdon Institute, University of Cambridge, UK) and Francesco Pampaloni (Buchmann Institute for Molecular Life Sciences, University Frankfurt, Germany) are organizing a major conference in Milan: the European Organoids Symposium 2019 (EOS2019) will be held on 23rd-24th September at the Centro Congressi Fondazione Cariplo.
On the first day, the conference will be mainly devoted to talks given by all the scientific LSFM4LIFE partners in order to communicate the objectives achieved by the project and present the future activities and the perspective for starting the clinical trials in type 1 diabetes patients with human pancreas organoids. On the second day, outstanding speakers in the field of organoid technology will provide the participants of the symposium with an overview of the most relevant advancements in the field. A showcase session for companies will also be organized. Thus, EOS2019 promises to be one of the major European scientific events in the field of organoid research in 2019.
